Who is Chris LaLanne...

Chris LaLanne is the Grand Nephew of American Health and Fitness Pioneer Jack LaLanne. He is honored to carry the legacy into the future!  He is thrilled to share his family’s enthusiasm for health and fitness by helping people, help themselves through implementation of effective, consistent diet and exercise programs.
Much like his uncle, Chris loves to swim and while going through school in San Diego he worked as a Beach Lifeguard, enjoying the competitive side of Open Water Swimming. After graduating from San Diego State University in the Class of 2000, he went on to work as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for the KC Royals Baseball Organization.
In 2007, Chris opened LaLanne Fitness CrossFit a group training model adopting the CrossFit methodology. This small gym located downtown San Francisco, quickly grew bigger and bigger from one location to the next.

Chris excelled as a coach and athlete; competing with his community in the CrossFit Games worldwide competition each year. Chris and his Tribe of dedicated coaches and members organized an amazing event for 5 consecutive years known as the Summer Throwdown.
Chris has always focused on nutrition education, which led him to discover The Paleo Diet written by Dr. Loren Cordain. Chris and Loren became friends. Chris eventually joined his panel of experts; "The Paleo Diet Implementation Team" helping individuals suffering from autoimmune and degenerative diseases learn how regain their health by adopting the Paleolithic lifestyle.

Today, Chris is very excited about his new brand of boutique fitness studio LaLanne Bootcamp - High Intensity Interval Training. The LaLanne Bootcamp "HIIT30" program is continuing a legacy of fitness and their team of coaches have a deep sense of purpose!
